"I received my training to practice Health Counseling at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Columbia University which is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories—combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone and raw foods.

I also have certification through the American Association of Drugless Practioners (AADP) in addition to holding a BSBA in Business and Education.

My passion for wellness began when my parents and other friends and family members died at young ages from diseases that could have been prevented with nutrition and lifestyle changes. After gradually making changes in my own life not only do I feel younger, more vibrant and have more energy but actually attained my ideal body weight without dieting.

My greatest compliment to my excellent health and energy comes from my granddaughters who say: "Grandma you look like a Mom, not like a Grandma."
